The KU MACURH 2014 Bid Team created the theme Piecing Together the Bigger Picture at MACURH 2014 after realizing that it would take every one of us to create the “bigger picture” of the regional MACURH conference. If one chair was missing, it would not be a complete picture, nor would we be capable of the best possible conference. Each individual is essential to an organization, executive board, or committee in this same way. We also wanted to showcase four major traits of leadership that each institution and delegation would have a special connection with: passion, teamwork, diversity, and tradition. This would give each delegation many choices when choosing an aspect of their institution to celebrate.

 

Each institution in MACURH creates our region, and without one institution, it just would not be complete, much in the same way that NACURH would be incomplete without it’s birthplace, MACURH! ​​​​​​​​​​
